I have lived my life mission minded. Started preaching at a young age and working in church as a youth leader I gave my life to what I was called to do. As a young person my life will filled with going to school and starting a youth group, I called Teens for Christ as well as with two friends conducted a radio program we called, Youth Revival Time.
As a young person still in High School I taught the men’s bible class in our church. In the summer me and my two friends traveled to churches in our area preaching revivals.
I was too young and too busy to think of getting older and end of life opportunities and obstacles.
Then my life was filled with getting married and having a family and pastoring churches. I was to busy to think about much else.
It never really crossed my mind that one day things would change. I would get older my children would marry and give me grandchildren.
Then one day it dawned upon me, the day I never thought about arrived. I was older and feelings I never experienced showed up, unexpectedly.
Now that old age has showed up, I found that I must re-orient my life and regroup and refocus on where I am now. In part, this video is about living a purposeful life even when things change and the process of rebooting and refocusing our lives to continue to have purpose and value.
