Take Control of Your Life in 2025

IIn this day change when things are changing at warp speed taking control of one’s life has never been more important.

The questions we ask of ourselves, and others says much about ourselves. They reveal maturity and immaturity. The difference between one who says by their actions, we drift with the tide and the other says, we take charge.

It matters not, if drifters float with idyllic dreams like floating on a cloud that goes the way the wind blows.

The courage it takes to be in charge, to choose one’s own destiny without bowing to a crowd mentality is both courageous and unparalleled.

Strait and narrow is the way that leads to life fulfillment. The gate to happiness lies at the doorstep of every individual. The problem is the gate of happiness is overlooked because of its simplicity.

To make the year 2025 the year of goals met, dreams fulfilled, and accomplishments reached requires recognition of opportunities and the courage to take leaps of faith.

The average individual is waiting for a better day, but their better day is always tomorrow. I hope this is not you and most certainly I want 2025 to end without regrets in the tracks I laid down on my way to my tomorrows. 

Our life, both successes and failures are the result of the choices we made, the decisions we made or did not make.

Fear is the great dream killer. Risk avoidance is the death knell that stops men and women in their tracks.

For many 2025 will come and go with disappointments and feelings or failure all because courage did not arise at pivotal moments. 

The sad thing is it did not have to end this way. It could have been different. Human failure is just that, human failure. I use the term ‘human failure’ intentional. It stands for human underdevelopment.

Developing and training oneself in the classic art of success, reaching goals, dreaming big dreams is a trait where many fall short. 

All human development begins with one trait where many fall short and that is the willingness to listen. Only listeners can and will train themselves in principles that propel them forward in life.

Scripture puts it this way, hear and obey. Simply put this means, hear, listen get the right information and then obey, follow, and carry out what you heard.

The challenge we face for 2025 is looking ourselves in the mirror and projecting ourselves into the future and mapping out a plan to get there.
