Dealing with sickness at its source

What more is there to be said; it is the will of God to heal and deliver from destruction,

There are a lot of reasons for teaching/writing on healing. In the first place there is such a need. Even with all the amazing technology in the world, we still live in a fallen world.

Being born again does not make us immune to the wiles of the devil. However, being born again gives us a unique perspective. We see things differently, that is, if we have been trained to see with born again eyes.

Born again mindset

The problem is most believers are this world minded and are not born-again minded. We need an entirely different mindset, a mindset I call a BORN-AGAIN MINDSET. One of the problems facing the average believer is they have never been educated to their birth, to what it means to be born-again.

I would like to introduce you to a mindset formed by your new birth experience. When born into this world, our natural birth, we naturally develop this world mindset.

Then when we are born again, we have little awareness and less education to the born-again world. I would like to see a change in not only what we see. but how we see things.

I am told if you put a pair of glasses on someone that makes them see things upside down and they wear them long enough that when the upside-down glasses are removed, they would continue to see things upside down.

In many ways our Christian life and how and we see things are formed by this world view as opposed to born-again view. Because we are so stepped in this world view it becomes difficult to change our view and see things from a born-again perspective.

Of all the areas that need our attention this one is primary because being healed is much more that relief from pain or the eradicating of some disease.

I mention this because, the Bible puts such an emphasis on healing and attributes sickness and disease to the work of a terrorist. By seeing sickness, and disease and infirmities as the work of a terrorist we can see being healed as being rescued from the work devil.

Jesus went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil. The Christian Standard Bible says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how he went about healing all who were under the tyranny of the devil, because God was with him.”

Another bible translation might add to the argument that sickness and disease is the work of the evil one, and we know who he is. The Aramaic Bible in Plain English says, “About Yeshua who was from Nazareth, whom God anointed with the Spirit of Holiness and with power, and as he was traveling and healing those injured by the evil one. From these translations we get a picture of a terrorist. a

Jesus gives us an entirely contrasting view, he healed all oppressed by the devil, in another translation he healed those who were under the tyranny of the devil. In the last translation we Jesus traveling and healing those injured by the evil one.

Do we need any further evidence to see that healing is the will of God and that all sickness, disease, and poverty is the work of a master spirit.

This means all sickness, disease, and poverty is spiritual. This does not mean a sick person or a person in poverty has committed a personal sin. No, it means, since the fall of man sin is in the world with sin came death, and with death came calamity with a master spirit behind it.

I am grateful for all the medical advances made just in my lifetime, I am grateful for all the doctors, nurses, and everyone behind the scenes tireless working to alleviate the work the evil one.

A belief that it is Gods will to heal is not anti-science nor is it anti the medical profession. Just the opposite, without doctors, nurses, and those who read x-rays, work in labs, are to be praised and the body of Christ should be grateful that so many of Gods people enjoy the benefits those named here.

This does not dissuade us from pursuing the biblical view that a terrorist, the evil one is the source of human suffering and should be resisted on all fronts.
